Failure Analysis of an Incoloy 800H Cyclone Separator Shell

摘 要
采用宏观检验、化学成分分析、能谱分析、扫描电镜分析、金相检验等方法,对某800H合金旋风分离器壳体破损和脱落原因进行了分析。结果表明:由于该壳体内壁受到物料剧烈磨损冲刷的同时还受到晶间腐蚀的作用,从而导致壳体发生早期的磨蚀穿孔失效。

Abstract
The damage and spalling reasons of an Incoloy 800H cyclone separator shell were analyzed by means of macroscopic inspection, chemical composition analysis, energy spectrum analysis, scanning electron microscope analysis, metallographic examination and so on. The results show that the inner wall of the cyclone separator shell was subjected to severe erosion and abrasion of the material in it, and it was also affected by intergranular corrosion, which led to the failure of early abrasion and perforation of the shell.
