Radiographic testing of heat exchange tube and header pipe fillet weld for open rack vaporizer

摘 要
开架式海水气化器的星型换热管与集管的角焊缝结构较为特殊,其焊接方式为钨极氩弧焊和熔化极惰性气体保护焊,采用射线检测技术检测其内部的焊接质量。针对其结构特点,设计了射线机放置工装及布片专用工装,采用了一些措施保证了射线检测图像的质量,并提高了检测效率。

Abstract
The structure of fillet weld between the star-type heat exchange tube and header pipe of open shelf seawater vaporizer is special. The welding methods include tungsten inert-gas welding and metal inert-gas welding. In order to inspect the internal welding quality for the weld, radiographic inspection is adopted. According to its structural characteristics, tools for radiographic machine placement and film layout were specially and respectively designed, and some measures were adopted to ensure the quality of the radiographic image and improve the inspection efficiency.
