Analysis on Cross-sectional Image and Phase of Galvannealed Coating with SEM

摘 要
详细介绍了一种用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察合金化热镀锌镀层截面形貌及对镀层中的各种锌铁合金相进行分析的方法,该方法是在普通镀层金相检验方法的基础上借助SEM获取镀层截面形貌,从而定性地判断镀层内的各种锌铁合金相的生成与否及生成量的多少,具体步骤包括金相试样的镶嵌、研磨、抛光、侵蚀和采用SEM观察镀层截面形貌。并对比分析了不同侵蚀液对镀层截面形貌的影响,发现采用添加缓蚀剂的铬酸+硫酸钠溶液侵蚀合金化热镀锌镀层得到的镀层截面形貌最为理想。

Abstract
A kind of SEM cross-sectional image and phase analysis method for galvannealed coating was introduced in detail,which was based on normal metallographic method and helped by scanning electron microscope to get cross-sectional coating morphologies thereby to qualitatively analyze whether each Zn-Fe alloy phase formed or not and its quantity,including metallographic sample preparation,grinding,polishing,etching,and SEM cross-sectional image getting. In addition,the effects of etchant were also studied and it was found that the SEM cross-sectional image of the galvannealed coating etched by chromic acid,sodium sulfate,pickling inhibitor and water solution was comparatively perfect.
